The IEI KINO-QM57A is based on the 32nm Intel® Core™ i7/i5 processor and supports two DDR III SO-DIMM memory modules up to 8GB. The Mobile Intel® QM57 Express chipset allows the playback and transmission of high quality video. The chipset includes embedded Gigabit Ethernet capabilities. The KINO-QM57A has an integrated graphics engine to support up to 1080p HD video playback, and the on board Intel® 82577LM GbE LAN controller offer high-speed network transmission rates. The display output interfaces include two HDMI ports, a VGA port and 18/24-bit dual channel LVDS option. The onboard graphics can support two grouped video signals on two sets of displays, or the same signal broadcast over all three outputs.

IEI Technology Corp., a leading industrial PC provider, introduces the IP67 rugged fanless embedded system, WStrider-200A. The WStrider-200A is designed to operate in harsh environments. The industrial grade Intel® Atom™ Z510PT processor and US15WPT chipset allow the WStrider-200A to be used in extreme temperatures from -30°C to 70°C. The watertight aluminum die-cast enclosure, M12 and BNC connectors with watertight caps for each connector provide IP67 compliant protection against dust and water, and withstand high impacts.
The IP Code (International Protection Rating) is defined in international standard IEC 60529 and it classifies the degrees of protection provided against the intrusion of solid objects, dust, accidental contact, and water in electrical enclosures. An IP67 rating represents no ingress of dust (a complete protection against contact) and protection against ingress of water when enclosure is immersed in water up to 1 m for a defined period of time. In addition, watertight interface cables can be easily connected between the WStrider-200A embedded system and peripheral devices just like a general PC. This ensures reliable operation in severe conditions.
