The KINO-QM67 is a standard Mini-ITX SBC supporting Intel® Socket G2 (988B) processors, while the ATX IMBA-Q67 and Micro ATX IMB-Q67 SBCs support Intel® LGA1155 processors. The new on-board chipset, USB 3.0, SATA 6Gb/s and Intel® 82579 PHY allow the IEI Intel® Q67/QM67 series to excel in data and video transmission throughput. The Intel® Q67/QM67 chipset supports Intel® Active Management Technology (AMT) 7.0 which allows IT staffs to diagnose and repair problems remotely.
Based on the Intel® AMT 7.0 feature, IEI developed iEZman and One Key Recovery to combine the power of remote KVM control with system recovery and backup management. With these two powerful tools, IEI products can be easily restored and controlled from any remote site.
What is iEZman?
The IEI iEZman application allows a remote user to have full control of keyboard and mouse by providing an out-of-band KVM function. In addition, a remote user can view uninterrupted video output even with a BSoD (blue screen of death) or missing disk present. These features are made possible through hardware-based Intel® Active Management Technology 7.0.
With iEZman, remote users such as support personnel can control and perform administrative tasks through a graphical user interface in Windows. All functions can be managed through this single interface after password verification. iEZman helps reduce TCO and improve productivity by providing IT departments with remote client management, OOB (out-of-band)
iEZman Functions:
• Power Management - To power the remote system on, off or reset.
• Schedule Power Management - To schedule the systems to wake from a sleep state or turn off at a particular time.
• Remote Access - To boot remote PCs from a local CD-ROM, floppy drive or ISO image, or boot into the BIOS.
• Group Management - To sort remote PCs into groups for easy monitoring and control.
• Patch Management - To apply patches to remote PCs.
• Alert and Events - To send an alert when system problems occur.
IEI One Key Recovery Solution
The unique IEI One Key Recovery solution includes exclusive technology to recover and backup the operating system with the simple press of a key. A recovery image CD with IEI official license sticker ships with every IEI single board computer, embedded system, and panel PC. It includes the system recovery software developed by IEI with Windows PE 2.0. The recovery image can be used to create a full system backup and restore from system failures. There is no need to buy additional backup and recovery tools.
All migration tasks can be performed remotely from a central management console reducing the costs associated with a physical visit. Neither specialized IT staff, nor consultants are required to implement the system imaging and data migration. Thus, IEI One Key Recovery simplifies the imaging and migration process and saves time and money. Please note that IEI One Key Recovery works on IEI products only. A warning message appears when attempting to run the software on a non-IEI product.

IEI Technology-Application Story of Restaurant-Ordering System: IEIMobile MODAT-200
The MODAT-200, built-in Windows Mobile 6.5, offers real-time information for wait staff to provide their guests with better, faster service and more information. Unlike with the traditional ordering process, using an order entry PDA can easily satisfy customer demands by providing real-time information which may include best offer of the day, sold out alerts, customer preference-based suggestions, bonus/gift points inquiry and membership signup.
Great customer service requires speedy and accurate meal service as a foundation. The traditional order taking routine requires wait staff to write down notes on paper and then very often key them into a point of sales terminal or hand deliver it to the kitchen. This approach is inefficient, necessitating double effort. A mobile handheld terminal allows wait staff to efficiently send orders to the kitchen and provide the latest information on daily specials, sold out items, customer preference history, membership bonus/gift point inquiries and applications. Better service is delivered with the adoption of the mobile handheld point of service terminal – a restaurant operator’s dream come true.
The Modat-200 links the wait staff to real-time, online data to serve customers with better, faster service through Wi-Fi and connected Bluetooth devices such as headsets and thermal printers. A built-in vibrator can alert wait staff that an order is ready to be served.
As customers wait in line during busy hours such as lunch time, service staff can take orders with the Modat-200 to accelerate food preparation and service – fast food provided fast to customers. Orders are quickly sent to the kitchen to speed up food preparation, increase order accuracy and ease payment transactions. The IEI’s ECN-001BT embedded system includes the Intel® Atom™ processor E660T running at 1.3 GHz. The ECN-001BT features advanced ultra low power consumption, robust 2D/3D graphics performance. IEI Technology-IEI Introduces AFOLUX GEN II Wide 15.6” Modular Expansion Panel PC
IEI Technology Corp. (IEI), the leading industrial computing company, introduces the AFOLUX GEN II, an All-in-One Panel PC with a completely modular architecture and a variety of expansion module boards connecting through a common interface giving it a functional versatility. There is no need to purchases a new system, just customize with additional modules to upgrade equipment performance or suit specific needs. The first in the AFOLUX GEN II Panel PC family is the AFL2-W15A with a 15.6” wide screen and flat-bezel front panel.
