IEI Technology Corp. (IEI), the global industrial computing innovator, introduced the HDCS-7003-S, the fanless embedded system with SDI 1080p Full HD video capturing capability. It comes with the 2nd Gen Intel® Core™ i7 processor, on-board 2 GB DDR3 memory and one DDR3 SO-DIMM slot (system max. 8 GB) to deliver advanced data transmission. Supporting up to 3 channels of SDI 1080p real-time video inputs, the HDCS-7003-S is ideal for medical applications, such as endoscopy and microscope, both needing high-resolution images for monitoring the experiment process as well as long-term recording for experimental records and precise operations.

The HDCS-7003-S is a high performance fanless embedded system for video processing and video/audio analyzing with Full HD video format. The HDCS-7003-S supports one to three channels of Serial Digital Interface (SDI) video and audio inputs. The HDCS-7003-S is capable to perform 30fps in each channel with Full HD 1080p video format. The HDCS-7003-S includes dual combo (10/100/1000 baseT(X) or 1000 baseSFP slot) Gigabit LAN ports. It comes complete with several I/O options including two USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, one SATA 6Gb/s port, one CAN-bus port and eight COM ports (four with isolation).

The target markets of the HDCS-7003-S include medical imaging devices, studio HD storage and automatic inspection machines. The software development kit (SDK) makes the HDCS-7003-S an ideal solution for system integrators to facilitate project and product implementation and fulfill a variety of applications and requirements.
